As a Service Technician your responsibilities will be responding to customer requests for additions and troubleshooting in their homes.
You will be responsible for running and maintaining a service van, quoting and bidding jobs. Ordering materials and completing work in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and can help people understand their home electrical system so they can make educated and informed decisions for their homes.
You may also be responsible for helping to train an apprentice who will be riding with you to service calls to aid you in the additions and repairs you perform. Must be flexible with hours being available Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you enjoy troubleshooting and helping people, this is the job for you.
As a Journeyman Electrician, you may work in a team or on your own, depending on the job. We are looking for self-starters who can work well with one or more team members and who aren’t afraid to put in the hours to make sure a job is done right.
Like with Apprentice Electricians, our Journeyman Electricians will perform electrical installations, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, and more on both residential and commercial work sites. However, as the Journeyman onsite, you may be training an apprentice or on your own.
Pay will be dependent on your current experience level and your willingness or ability to lead a team.
